MJNL and I went to the Toronto Climbing Academy to try out rock climbing (again), this time with Growly and EG. EG was busy at noon, so it was just the three of us at first. We took the introductory course to refresh our memories (we have all rock climbed before, but it was only a handful of times and a while ago).
The course also introduced us to bouldering, which looked (and was) more difficult than top rope climbing. The three of us then took a break for lunch at Nando's, where we met up with EG, and then went back for a couple more hours of rock climbing.
Despite having trouble with out sore upper bodies, MJNL and I were able to make quite a number of climbing attempts. It was pretty fun though, and since we got a monthly membership, we will be going back at least once just to get our money's worth.
The four of us then headed to Hollywood Gelato to ruin our dinner. Since none of us wanted to eat yet, we headed to the Scarborough Town Centre to watch Source Code. The movie itself was pretty good. It was not fantastic, but was entertaining enough.
Finally, we had a late dinner at Perfect Restaurant, where we nearly had a fiasco with a lack of cash. Dinner was pretty cheap, and we did have a lot of leftovers though.
