The CGSS coffee and donuts was kinda small this time. I don't think too many people heard about it even though ADK e-mailed about it and put up posters. (Well, I noticed, but I already knew beforehand). I think we need a better way to advertise these things. It seems like most people ignore e-mail notices or memos and also ignore most posters (we get a lot of posters up around here). Need to find things to consider.
Went to the Mongolian Grill for lunch. This was of course a spur of the moment thing thought up by weirDo. Funny enough, he didn't eat breakfast or bring a lunch today. I'm not sure if he was planning this for a while, but I wasn't exactly prepped for an all-you-can-eat lunch thing (especially the amount of meat they had). Oh well, I never had lunch there, so this was as good a time to try as any. We were also able to convince RHS to come along. Food was good, wasted two hours eating tho, but got our money's worth.
I was volunteered to set up the AV equipment for the Chem Phys Seminar today. (Found out about it just after coming back from lunch - less than an hour before the presentation!) Fortunately, I remembered how to run the equipment, and although some of the stuff was different, the presentation went without a hitch. Whew, dodged a stray bullet there.
Well, here I go again (on my own). It's 5:30 PM and GBC (The computer guy - but you peeps know that already) won't be driving me home today. Dang nabit. I'll be taking the bus again (as I have been for the past couple trips). So it seems like I won't be bringing my computer back home. Well, to be accurate, it's now my sister's computer (I sold my P133 to her now that I've got my C300A) so I won't be bringing her computer back to TO till the end of this weekend which would mean that I won't be setting it up anytime soon. Oh well, sucks to be them.
Seems like I won't get caught up on e-mail today. Been a little busy working with the data Dusty sent me on NAD and NAT. Can't get it to work gosh darned it. I also have to finish updating DSPOTFIT, but I have an idea that should help me.. has something to do with updating the READATA subroutine. (Course, you guys wouldn't have a clue what the heck I'm talking about so you don't have to listen.) I'll just have to remember to have VMAX(ISTATE) become VMAX(IISTP,ISTATE). Yup.
Well, weirDo should be giving me a ride to the Kitchener bus terminal. So I should probably get ready. I'll be back by Sunday.
