I just recalled yet another part of a dream that I had recently. I was talking with this girl who was telling me how she had solved one of the riddles at the Philosopher's Stone. Then I told her how much I had done and that I was stuck with:
How we got here in You Only Live Twice
and the lies in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Too bad I never found the answer. *shakes fist*
I went out to lunch today and decided to go for some Pho. When I got to the restaurant, I was a little surprised that the waitresses were more busy than usual and I started looking for a seat. Looking around, I was surprised to see a hand being waved in the distance. Waitaminute! It's..
I noticed that a bunch of co-workers (well, not technically) were just finishing up lunch. What the heck? That was such a strange coincidence.
Anyhoo, girl wants to put together a Linux box. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom they want to share? I doubt Redhat 6+ will run on a 486-33, but I know something out there will. (BeOS? Slackware? Mandrake?) Ah well, I'd rather just turn off my brain right now.

Linux will run on any x86 machine (so 386 and above), although running it on a box slower than a Pentium won't be too good for anything other than a print or static server.

Slackware's generally better for more hardware-restricted environments, I hear. Red Hat/Mandrake/SuSE are getting pretty bloated. Yeah, it depends on what you want to do with it.
Running anything X on a 486 would be painful.
