We all slept in a bit before going to breakfast at another place that Hakkaka happened to notice while we were looking for a Starbuck's. It was called Panera Bread and it looked busy so we checked it out. The food and deals were pretty good there, and we changed our takeout into a sit in. (Because a table freed up - the place was packed.)
The plan was to meet up with the rest of MJNL's family at Great Lakes Crossing but our first stop was at Birch Run where it was shopping madness! The mall was packed, and most of the stores had lineups that would make amusement parks seem quick in comparison.
We somehow managed to buy stuff as well. (Clothes mostly for us.) But after we grabbed a bite to eat, we ended up reaching Great Lakes Crossing much later than anticipated. However, MJNL and I still managed to get some shoes, and other clothes before the family booked in at the hotel.
We had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. It took a while to find, because the GPS did not pinpoint the exact location of the restaurant, but I do recall going to one years ago during my trip down the east coast. The food was okay, and the prices were okay.
