Man, it was hot today. I went out to the site, which was easier to find than I had expected. I got there early and had to wait while people arrived. I found out that there was nothing set up for me, so I had to set up the system, and then found out that all our assumptions were incorrect! There was a chance that I could recode the system, but I first had to determine how to get our software to talk to their equipment.
Unfortunately, we spent most of the day trying to get it to work, and it just wouldn't talk to us. So I went back to the hotel to work on the UI and try to figure something out for the next day..
