*yawn* I don't seem to be getting enough sleep. Either that, or I'm trying to catch up for all that time lost last weekend. I won't be getting a lot of sleep tonight, but we do have a long weekend coming up..

On the drive in, I noticed two police cruisers sitting at the end of the street parked in such a way so that the drivers could talk to each other. I wasn't sure why they were there, but I didn't stick around to ask any questions. It began to snow heavilly an hour before noon. I wanted to get my roll of film developed today (since I left it at home yesterday) but I was a little wary about going outside. Too bad i didn't bring any lunch. I guess my stomach got the better of me. The drive out was pretty bad, and my anti-lock brakes were constantly kicking in. It's quite annoying actually. I want to actually learn how to control my skids as opposed to relying on the car. Anyhoo, I passed by a car that had smashed into a pole, but I was going to fast to stop and take a closer look. Instead, I took the side streets to come back and take a closer look. When I came up to the car, I noticed that the airbag on the driver's side had gone off, but the vehicle was empty. I guess the driver got picked up by a passer-by and went to get help. Who knows? Anyhoo, I sense many fender benders in the near future.
Hopefully I'll get back in one piece. The forecast is for ten centimeters, which isn't a lot although we are now in Spring, and there is the OPSEU strike going on..
I'm not sure if I'll make it to broomball. I wanted to get a new aluminum broom and some pants. If I don't get them now, I may have to wait till next year..

I had decided, after going out for lunch, that driving to broomball tonight was not on the agenda. I would go play badminton, and then go home to rest and relax. While I was clearing the snow off the car before leaving work, I heard a loud popping sound. I had no idea what it could've been although I thought it might've been some guys's engine being blown or a tire blowing out, but I didn't hear or see anything out of the ordinary after that. Curious, I drove up to a few guys who were cleaning their cars closer to the sound. One of them mentioned that he didn't know what it was, but "It sounded like a gunshot". Nice.
Badminton went fairly well. I didn't have to worry about tiring myself out since I wasn't heading out to broomball. So I started working on my backhand.
