Hey, we just got hit by two hailstorm waves. These suckers were the size of small marbles. Oi, and there was a lot of lightning in the sky, although there wasn't any thunder.. *looks around for funnel clouds*

[12:36 AM EDT - AV crap.]

There is something wrong with my new system. I'm not sure what. Opening and closing web windows takes forever, and the sound and video get screwed up when I watch some movies. Could it be the motherboard? Sound card? Video card? Something else? Erk, this is quite annoying. Doing normal stuff is faster on my old system. (Although Counter Strike is definitely good on this one (I get around 30fps for the highest resolution).

[2:15 PM EDT - Shopping list.]

I need to get a few things to get my new system up and running:

  1. IDE cable
  2. CD-ROM - Soundcard connector
  3. Spindle of CD-R's
  4. A bunch of CD-RW's
  5. A couple of UPS's
  6. A life (Which I'll hopefully get once everything is finished.)

So much to do, so little urge to do it..

[3:40 PM EDT - Is it just me..]

After yesterday's wind chill, today's heat wave was a huge change in climate. Oh boy. *tugs at collar*

The CD-RW seems to be working. That's good! Now all I need is an IDE cable so that I can install the darned thing. (I'm currently using one, and it's not long enough.) I guess I'm going shopping tomorrow.

What else is there? Uhh, not too much I guess. Had to move a cabinet, but that's about it. I should probably get around to cleaning my room. *looks at disaster zone* I think I give my mom heart attacks each time she looks in here.
