We played our regular Neverwinter Nights 2 game this afternoon but I was not very hopeful of being able to ride today. I woke up to the sound of thunder this morning and it rained for most of the day. The forecast predicted thunder showers, which was not weather I wanted to be riding in, so I ended up driving up to dinner. The rain did scare off a lot of people from coming out, but we had about eight people out for wings. This included Laz and Pops.
Afterwards, Laz, Pops, JSL, and I went to watch Transformers. It was okay. I was not expecting much, but the action sequences were good, although being a PG movie, they had a lot more scenes which were geared towards kids. (Kid humor in particular.)
Speaking of kids, there were quite a number of teens in the audience, and while we were seated, 2046-LM showed up! Funny seeing him there.
Not to spoil anything, I was a little surprised to see the two Transformers that I used to have were in the movie. In addition, the Transformer who I was labeled as during hockey was also in the movie! In any case, the movie was entertaining, although not as entertaining as 300 was methinks. Mind you, 300 was an R rated flick. I probably should compare with Live Free or Die Hard.
