Argh. It's too hot, too humid, and too darned summery (and it's only half-past-nine)! *sweats buckets* Here's to the seventh smog warning of the year! *lifts glass*

Hey, I was flipping through the paper this morning, and I came across this picture of a fairly attractive lady. I thought to myself, "Man, she looks just as good as Shania Twain." *looks at caption* It WAS Shania Twain! Well I'll be. Definitely one of the best looking people out there right now. *nods*

[9:51 AM EDT - Cryptic as ever.]

Well, it seems as if KGL's being as cryptic as ever. Well actually, this entry was much more understandable, although it's the same old story: No money, no sleep, crappy food. (Rearrange as required.) But seriously, if I was in KGL's shoes I'd probably be even more cryptic! I mean, she's been waxing sentimental quite often recently, and I haven't even mentioned anything interesting in my life for weeks. So, I just hope things are going well for her. *pats KGL on the head* (I know how she hates that. Unpattable my as..*chomp* Ahh! Ahh!! It's got my hand! Get it off me! Get it off!!!)

Oh well, I guess this was expected. I was surprised that it was a unanimous decision not to break up Microsoft, but hey, I'm no judge. *goes back to working on SQL server issues in VB6 while running on Win2k and checking mail with Outlook and reading the article with IE*

[4:59 PM EDT - Cloudy perfume.]

You know, the heat's not so bad when the sun's not adding to the agony. It's a little cloudy out there so the office isn't heating up aas quickly as it normally does. It also made going out to pick up lunch a little more bearable, although the humidity wasn't something that could be avoided.

When I was heading back to my car after picking up lunch, I ended up walking behind this lady who was coming in the other direction. The moment I got into her draft, I got a whiff of her perfume, and nearly gagged. Ack! Ptui! Some people wear this stuff? *gasps for fresh air*
