Well, I finally got around to making my lasagna and doing laundry. Now I've got enough food to tide me over for the rest of the week.
It's already Wednesday? Geez, where did the time go? I got home late from work, and cooking took longer than anticipated (although the lasagna came out better than I thought it would). It's all good though.
But I've fallen behind on my e-mail again, and I've got a VGAP turn to look at. Geez, and they expect me to have time to be a patrol leader?!?

Argh! After throwing in the PHP stuff, my pages aren't valid as XHTML 1.0 Strict anymore! I came across this French page that had the same problems I was having (the session_start seemed like the cause - after creating these session IDs). I couldn't get it to work though. I'm too tired to think about it right now, so I'll have to address it later..

I see what the issue is. By turning on the session start in PHP, the server will automatically add hidden inputs on my forms so that session IDs are passed properly. Unfortunately, my version of PHP inserts these hidden files that invalidate the XHTML 1.1 Strict DOM. Maybe a later version won't have this problem?

I went to bed late last night yet again. Fortunately I dragged myself out of bed this morning a littler earlier than normal, so things balanced out in the end.
*thinks*
Waitaminute, that means that I got less sleep! *shakes fist*
My space bar doesn't work so well anymore. It doesn't seem to register so well anymore. (Probably because of my hack job last month.)
Okay, I've got e-mail to catch up on..

I had forgotten that there was some sort of software training thing going on tonight. I guess I won't be going to badminton huh?
I also got a link from girl for some GeoSpy thing. It's definitely geared for kids. If you want to feel good, you can do the continents game. I got 34/37 of the European countries. I got lucky with a couple, but those world war two shows helped a lot with locating those countries.

Oi. I got my butt handed to me on a platter in North America. I barely got over half.

This was from a few days ago, and it's the only part that I can remember from this dream. I was standing around with a bunch of people that I knew, and this young, thin (and cute) girl to my right was wearing a winter jacket. I knew her, but can't recall who she is anymore. We were all just standing around chatting and she started making fun of me. In retaliation, I started tickling her, and we squirmed around for a little while.

Geez, how come there are some paper towel dispensers that require dry hands to access the paper towels? There's a small notch in the dispenser that one can use their fingers and pull the towel out. Unfortunately, when a new paper towel roll is in the box, there is a lot of resistance to removal of any paper. Ass to this the sogginess of the hands, and this results in many failed attempts to retrieve some product from this dispenser. By the time one is able to acquire a sufficient amount of drying paper, your hands are already dry from wiping them on any non-wet surface so that you can pull out the towel.
Who came up with this design anyway?

I guess I'm not the only one with the XHTML validation problem. Fixes have been suggested. Hmm, I guess changing the php.ini file is the only way to go?

Ah ha! I was checking something else (on updating session parameters with javascript) and found a hint on how to fix this problem with going back on a form. Sometimes, the information on that form will be reset, so there's a PHP fix that should correct that behaviour. We'll see if it helps!

I've been switching some of my links to the PHP pages. They're fairly noticeable since I drop the Homepages link, the Text button, and change "at" to "@".
