I need a script to notify me of any changes to my IP address. I'll probably attach it to some sort of cron job run.. hourly? I found a few sites that might help. One pulls it from a Linksys router. Another is just a short text field.
Oh, that's it.

Oh, I also found the ComStar Historical Archives while looking for something else.

Oh, there was another site which used the aforementioned link to pull up the IP address in a script, but I found another page which did something similar.

What is smart casual? Is it the same as business casual?

I've written a small script that should keep track of my IP address. Actually, it only tracks differences in the IP address, using a script similar to that found here, which is all I really need right now. I may expand on it in the future.

Dinner is slated for 9:30 tonight, which is good, since I had a rather large (and late) lunch. I don't know if I'll be hungry in two hours.
I've got some time to do some chores though. I hope my clothes will dry in time. Chances are.. no?

I was sifting through ArsTechnica and found an interesting book I might pick up called "How to Lie with Statistics". I also found this article on the RIAA suing a dead woman curious.

I was taking a look at one of these apartments which had the right size and structure that I was looking for (bedroom plus a real den). The price was pretty good to, and the condo itself wasn't half bad. The only problem is that it was on the third floor. Low floor apartments are generally harder to get rid of, and this apartment's been on the block for some time. I might still put in an offer anyway.

I'm not feeling all too hot right now. Great. I hope it doesn't affect me tomorrow or Sunday.

I went to have dinner with girl and Dangerman down at Mistura for Winterlicious. I ended up getting down there at a decent time. The only problem was finding a good parking spot. I guess it helps if I had better night vision and had a navigator. In any case, after a few loops, I found a semi-decent spot and parked.
We waited an extra hour before finally getting seated. The place was pretty packed, and people didn't seem to want to leave after they had finished eating. I was fortunate enough to have had lunch at HT's place, and he always seems to want me leaving with an extra full stomach each time. The food there was pretty good, although there wasn't any sort of chocolate dessert. The things I did order though were very tasty! (I had the egg drop soup, lamb, and some other cappuccino thing that was in Italian.)
Oh, here we go. Here's the menu. I got the Minestra del Giorno, Veal Scaloppine "Ai Funghi" with Saffron Risotto Cake & Winter Greens, and Latte Fritto with Blueberry Compote.
I went straight home afterward since I had to patrol on Saturday.
