EN came into the room with a can opener and a can and asked if we knew how to use it. I was just a little surprised that there would be people at our age who didn't know how to use one of those hand cranked can openers..

I always thought that my parents bought Chinese rice, but they gave me a bag of Thai Hom Mali Rice. (It's pretty good rice actually.)

[10:57 PM EDT - Handling special characters.]

I'm doing a few small changes to the scripts to handle some special characters so that I can put links up like this one with impunity.

<- feeling double + impetuous.

Argh! It seems as if I can't handle %26 as the form doesn't convert converted characters, which means that I have no real way of having ampersands in URLs come out as non-special characters. Ah well, I guess it's a small price to pay?
