I did something awfully dumb last night: I installed Halo.
Yeah, I was actually going through my CD collection and wanted to get rid of all of my old games (make some space, keep things organized, get some cash and whatnot) and I came across Halo. I didn't install it on my system originally since my video card couldn't handle the game (wasn't good enough I guess), but ever since I got my new video card.. (The world has opened up to me..)
So I ended up playing the game all night instead of doing something productive (like work, or cleaning, or this web page, or patrol stuff, or e-mail - which is relatively productive, or..)
I just hope I finish the game soon so I can get back to more productive pursuits..
I went out to a client site today. I wanted to test an interface with which I had nothing to test against so I was a little worried that the controls that we were using were not compatable with the interface that we were using. Fortunately, things worked fine (after I got the settings correct) and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Now all I need to do is finish coding this darned thing and I'll be able to go through a true trial run to see if my understanding of Power Builder is good enough to allow me to decipher the code.
I've been falling behind with e-mail. I've been meaning to reply to a lot of people but other things get in the way I guess. There are those people who, when given many choices are unable to make one. There are others who, when given many tasks, are unable to complete one. Focus. I'll need to focus.

Video cards in themselves are not bad for society. Video cards don't get frags: Gamers do.
Also, any entry I make for a previous date will not be time stamped, but date stamped. (Although I thought people would've noticed that already?)
