The hardwood floor is in. Mostly. They ran out of wood, so they'll be back tomorrow to finish the job.

[8:57 PM EDT - The joy of scheduling.]

Okay, this is why I stopped bothering to plan things in advance. I had planned to have the mother's day dinner on Sunday which was nixed because of a lack of a mother. So I suggested Monday or Tuesday which was nixed because girl and Dangerman were unavailable. Then I moved it to Wednesday which conflicted with badminton, but that was alright. However, the parental units decided to change the venue and have the dinner held on Thursday which was when ultimate was taking place, but that was okay, I guess. I could leave early. Unfortunately, my condo meeting which was supposed to take place on Friday had to be pushed back to Thursday because the place wasn't open on Fridays! (I found out last week.)

So I've got three things scheduled for that night, plus all the things I needed to get prepared for that night I have to do during the day. Oi vey.
