I have quite a bit of old food. When I say "old food" I mean food that has been sitting on my shelf since my days in university.
That was a long time ago.
What I am talking about is some cake mix that has been sitting on the shelf for the better part of a decade, and the frosting as well. I finally got some disposable pans a couple of months ago, and now I have time to see if cake mix ever goes bad.
Wish me luck, because I do not want my stomach pumped.

The instructions stated that the mix should be beat at low speed for about a minute. This is equivalent to mixing with chopsticks for an hour.
This had better be worth it.
