I've added Anyang's hardware components to the list of computers that I have. I figure it'll come in handy if I ever need to update the drivers at some point in time in the future. That machine doesn't seem overly stable though, but fortunately we're not using it for any critical processing.
I've also finished with the conversion of those personality test results. It should look (more or less) the same but XHTML 1.1 compliant!
I've got another long day ahead, and considering the weather right now, I'm anticipating a lot of people out on the slopes..

I found this edition of the ArsTechnica Science Sunday very interesting.

Well, the hill was indeed packed today. The weather was amazing, and it wasn't all that cold. Those two factors combined to give a rather full house on the slopes this afternoon. There were a whole bunch of patrollers out in the morning since some representatives from division showed up to scope out the hill. It's too bad they took off when our shift came because we got hit by a whole bunch of simultaneous accidents.
Ah well, it was all good in the end. We had a fairly decent crew out that afternoon, so the time went by fairly quickly. There were some sweep issues, but at least it wasn't as long as my closing sweep..

I found out last night that someone got hit by a car.

Ugh. I think I did something to my back when we were transporting a patient. My back was slightly arched, and that meant that I was applying pressure to my back rather than my arms/legs. Yup, not very smart. *rubs lower back*
